Krystal Anderson (aged: 40, April 27, 1983 – March 20, 2024) was a Texan woman known for her roles as a cheerleader for the Kansas City Chiefs and a Software Engineer at Oracle.

Tragically, she passed away at the age of 40 due to sepsis following a stillbirth.

Anderson dedicated over 11 years to cheerleading for the Kansas City Chiefs and simultaneously pursued a career in software engineering. She was also an avid yoga instructor for more than six years.

Krystal Cause Of Death

Krystal Anderson, who married Clayton William Anderson on July 31, 2021, lived in Leawood, Kansas.

Sadly, she passed away on March 20, 2024, during her fifth month of pregnancy.

After doctors couldn’t find her baby’s heartbeat, she gave birth prematurely to her daughter, Charlotte Willow.

Krystal’s health worsened with a post-delivery fever, leading to sepsis and organ failure.

Despite three surgeries and medical care, she couldn’t be saved and passed away despite efforts to keep her on life support.

Early Life

On April 27, 1983, Krystal Anderson (who died at the age of 40) was born to her father, Carlyle, and mother, Bertha Cunningham, in Killeen, Texas, United States.

According to sources, she was raised by her parents in El Paso where she attended Eastwood High.

During her school days, she was a member of an African Dance Group. In 2001, she completed her schooling and joined the University of Richmond to study Computer Science.

Besides studying for her bachelor’s degree, Krystal participated in all kinds of activities during her college days.

She was even a member of the cheerleading group for the University of Richmond’s football team.

Career

Krystal began her career journey as a Software Engineer at Cerner Operations, now known as Oracle Cerner, following her college graduation.

Soon after, she diversified her interests by joining the Kansas City Chiefs as an NFL Cheerleader, a role she gracefully maintained for over a decade.

Alongside her cheerleading commitments, Krystal made significant strides in computer science. Her obituary highlights her notable contributions to healthcare, particularly her development of innovative software aimed at assessing post-partum hemorrhage risks, for which she received a patent.

In June 2017, she advanced to the managerial position within Cerner’s Software engineering department. Beyond her professional endeavors, Krystal also dedicated herself to yoga instruction, sharing her passion for wellness at CorePower Yoga for more than six years.
