Bimbo Ademoye was born Abimbola Aisha Ademoye on 4 February 1991 in Lagos, Nigeria.

Bimbo has an older sister named Adebike Maryam, and they were raised by their father, Adekunle Ademoye. Growing up, Bimbo was mostly under her father’s care after he and her mother separated when the actress was only two years old.

Bimbo got her breakthrough in 2014 when she landed her first major acting role in a short film titled “Where Talent Lies” after the popular director, Uduak Isong, discovered and gave her a golden chance.

The film got nominated at the African International Film Festival and won the award for “The Best Film Pitch” that year, and its recognition helped the rising star become known in the industry.

Her outstanding performance in the series attracted both industry insiders and spectators’ attention, catapulting her into the public eye.

While speaking of the tattoo, the actress stated that her father almost disowned her after she tattooed her ex-boyfriend’s name on her shoulder, but replaced it with a feather tattoo on her left shoulder when the relationship ended.
