Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and former journalist Lauren Sanchez are set to tie the knot next week in a grand, star-studded wedding in Venice, Italy. Fresh details have emerged revealing the extraordinary gifts and exclusive arrangements planned for their A-list guests.
According to Daily Mail sources, Bezos’ $500 million superyacht, Koru, will serve as a central venue, anchored near the picturesque San Giorgio Maggiore island.
The 16th-century Benedictine island, home to the Basilica of San Giorgio Maggiore, has reportedly been closed to visitors from June 24 to June 29 in preparation for the private event. The mayor of Venice is said to believe that the ceremony itself may take place aboard the yacht.
Additionally, Bezos has allegedly reserved the historic Scuola Grande della Misericordia in central Venice from June 26 to June 28, possibly for pre-wedding celebrations or receptions. Private tenders will reportedly ferry guests between the yacht and the island.
The wedding guest list is reportedly intimate, with an expected number of under 200 attendees, featuring high-profile names such as Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, and members of the Trump family.
A source revealed that each guest will receive luxurious, hand-blown Murano glassware crafted by the prestigious Venetian brand Laguna B. Founded by Marie Brandolini, Laguna B is famed for its colorful and intricately designed glasses, with single pieces valued at $167 or more. Her son now runs the company after Brandolini’s passing in 2013.
But the lavish glassware is not the only takeaway for attendees. Insiders suggest that more opulent gifts are in store, though specifics remain under wraps. Given Sanchez’s love for designer items—such as her $5,750 Balenciaga coffee cup clutch—the additional gifts are expected to be equally extravagant.
