Early Life and Career
Ramsay made multiple appearances on her father’s TV shows MasterChef Junior and Hell’s Kitchen from 2010 to 2015 before she started presenting Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch on CBBC.
In 2013, she joined her father on Gordon Ramsay’s Home Cooking to teach home cooking. Occasionally, her mother, Tana, also made appearances.
In 2015, it was announced that Ramsay would host her own cooking and entertainment show on CBBC called Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch. This show, targeted towards a younger audience, features all the members of the Ramsay family as they embark on their summer holidays. The first series premiered on 14 April 2015, followed by the second series on 6 May 2016, and the third series on 5 May 2017. Each series consists of 15 episodes.
Although Ramsay was raised in London, she divides her time between South West London and Los Angeles due to her father’s television career. She has had a passion for cooking since a young age.
In 2017, Ramsay’s sister, Megan Ramsay, ran the London Marathon in memory of their baby brother Rocky, who was lost due to a miscarriage in June 2016.
In June 2017, it was announced that Ramsay’s CBBC show, Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, would be renewed for a fourth series to be aired in 2018. The fourth series premiered on 24 April 2018.
In September 2018, Ramsay made an appearance on the popular ITV show This Morning, where she and her father showcased their culinary skills in a series of cooking segments called “Big Chef Little Chef.” The aim of these segments was to inspire children to develop an interest in cooking.
During season 18 of Hell’s Kitchen, Ramsay had the opportunity to be a special guest in the eighth episode. The dinner service for that episode revolved around her Sweet 16 birthday party, adding a personal touch to the show.
Ramsay also lends her voice to One Potato Two Potato, a company owned by All3Media. Originally a collaboration between Optomen and her father, she adds her unique touch by singing the company name in a catchy style.
In 2021, Ramsay took part in the nineteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she was paired with professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin. Unfortunately, on 28 November 2021, she was eliminated from the competition, becoming the ninth celebrity to leave.
Exciting news came on 12 October 2023, as it was announced that Ramsay would be joining the ninth season of MasterChef Junior as a new judge. She will be joining the returning judges Gordon Ramsay, Aarón Sánchez, and Daphne Oz, bringing her expertise and passion for cooking to the show.
