Man raises eyebrows online as he shares why Anthony Joshua didn’t shed tears at friend’s funeral (Video)

A man has offered what he described as the reason behind Anthony Joshua’s calm behaviour at the funeral of his close friends, Latz and Sina, who died in a tragic car accident.
Reports earlier indicated that the heavyweight boxer was in the same vehicle when it collided with a stationary trailer parked by the roadside. Joshua survived the crash, while his two associates lost their lives, a development that shocked fans around the world.
When footage from the UK funeral surfaced online, many social media users misinterpreted Joshua’s composure, assuming he felt little or no grief because he did not cry or visibly break down during the ceremony.
A TikTok user, posting through the handle @celeb.bread, argued that the calmness was deliberate and came from a place of deep pain rather than indifference. The post, shared by the page @celeb.bread, suggested Joshua wanted the occasion to remain focused on honouring the deceased instead of drawing attention to his personal emotions.
The user explained that as a global figure, Joshua understands the level of scrutiny surrounding him and knows that any emotional collapse could easily shift media attention away from Sina and Latz and place it on himself.
He also claimed the boxer was carrying several responsibilities after the tragedy, including comforting the families of the deceased, handling practical matters, and still facing the demands of his boxing career and public expectations.
The TikTok user linked Joshua’s emotional restraint to the mentality developed in professional boxing, where athletes are often trained to hide vulnerability and project strength even in difficult moments.
Although Joshua initially received backlash from observers who thought his composed nature meant he was unaffected, the explanation has led many Nigerians to reconsider their judgment, with several people noting that grief is personal and not everyone expresses pain through tears.
