Lee Jae-wook, (Korean 이재욱) born on May 10, 1998, is a well-known South Korean actor and model. He began his acting career in the science fiction thriller Memories of the Alhambra (2018–2019) and gained recognition for his role in the office romance Search: WWW (2019). Following this, he made his big screen debut in the war film The Battle of Jangsari (2019) and appeared in the school series Extraordinary You (2019) and melodrama When The Weather Is Fine (2020). After taking on his first lead role in the romantic comedy Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol (2020), he further solidified his career with a significant role in the popular fantasy period drama Alchemy of Souls (2022) and its sequel Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow (2022–2023).

Lee Jae-Wook Education
Jae-Wook commenced his educational path at Daechi Middle School. Subsequently, he transitioned to Seocho High School. By this juncture, he had already cultivated an affinity for the performing arts and resolved to pursue further education in this field. Lee embarked on his acting journey in December 2018, taking on a supporting role in the popular tvN drama Memories of the Alhambra as a hacker-programmer. He was scouted by VAST Entertainment, the agency of the lead actor Hyun Bin. In 2020, a photoshoot featuring Lee, actress Park Lee-hyun, and another label mate for the magazine “THE MASTERPIECE” gained widespread attention. The photos were captured in the summer of 2018, prior to Lee’s official debut as an actor.
In June 2019, Lee became a part of the main cast of tvN’s Search: WWW with Lee Da-hee, sparking discussions with each episode. The sales of Cine21’s “2019 Rising Star” issue saw a significant increase due to Lee’s rising popularity from his role in the drama. By September of the same year, he successfully debuted on the big screen in the war film The Battle of Jangsari. Following this, in October of the same year, he took on the role of the female lead’s childhood friend-fiancé in MBC’s Extraordinary You. Lee’s performance in the show led to him being awarded the title of Best New Actor at the 2019 MBC Drama Awards, and he was also nominated for Best New Actor – Television at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards.

Lee made his return to television screens in June 2022, starring in the tvN period fantasy drama Alchemy of Souls alongside Jung So-min. During the same month, he made a cameo appearance as an actor in the Disney+ series Kiss Sixth Sense. In October, Lee was recognized with the Global Excellence Award at the Korea Drama Awards for his significant contribution to the Hallyu wave. Additionally, he received the Asia Special Award at the 17th Asia Model Awards. In December of that year, he reprised his role as Jang Uk in Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow, acting alongside Go Youn-jung. To cap off the year, Lee was honored with the Best Actor Award at the Asia Artist Awards.
