Chris Gauthier, born on 27th January 1976 and passed away on 23rd February 2024, was a Canadian actor of English origin. He gained recognition for his notable portrayals of Neville in Need for Speed: Carbon and William Smee in Once Upon a Time.

Chris Gauthier Early Life

Chris Gauthier, originally from Luton, England, relocated to Armstrong, British Columbia, Canada with his family at the age of five. He received his acting training at the Vernon School of Speech and Drama.

Chris Gauthier Career

In terms of his career, Gauthier made notable appearances on various television shows. He had a recurring role as Vincent, the owner of Café Diem, on the SyFy Channel series Eureka. During the filming of the final ten episodes of season three of Eureka, he also took part in the 2009 CBS Mystery Event Harper’s Island, portraying the character Malcolm Ross. Additionally, he appeared in the film Freddy vs. Jason as Shack. However, his most significant role was in Smallville, where he portrayed Winslow Schott, also known as Toyman. In this role, he engaged in battles with both Clark and Oliver, and was involved in setting up Marionette Ventures, also known as The Legion of Doom.

Tragically, Gauthier passed away on 23 February 2024, at the age of 48.
