Early Life
Adin David Ross, born on October 11, 2000, in Boca Raton, Florida, was raised by Jewish parents.
After a short stint in New York City, he made the decision to settle in Three Rivers, California.
From a young age, Ross developed a keen interest in streaming and even chose to forgo his high school prom in order to stream on Twitch.
During a No Jumper interview with Adam22, Ross shared a harrowing incident from his past.
At the age of 12, he was unexpectedly attacked while asleep by a mentally unstable relative, resulting in a stabbing.
Ross required nine stitches on his arm, while the relative faced legal consequences and was eventually admitted to a mental hospital.
Career
Ross started live streaming regularly on Twitch while residing with his sister, Naomi Ross.
Eventually, he became a member of an NBA 2K group called Always Excelling, where he had the opportunity to meet Bronny James.
Ross gained popularity by playing NBA 2K20 alongside James and participating in wager matches with other streamers and YouTubers.
In 2020, while streaming with Bronny, Ross had the unexpected pleasure of LeBron James joining their call, which he later shared on his Twitter page.
In December 2022, Ross was in discussions to conduct an interview with Kanye West, following West’s controversial remarks about Jewish people.
However, Ross ultimately decided against it after West allegedly expressed his refusal to be dictated by the Jewish community, stating, “you Jews aren’t going to tell me what I can and can’t say” during a phone conversation with Ross.
On February 23, 2023, Ross made an announcement that he would be permanently transitioning from Twitch to Kick.
Controversies
Ross sparked controversy when he live-streamed Super Bowl LVII on Kick and also opened the Pornhub website during the stream. This generated a lot of attention and criticism.
Additionally, Ross found himself involved in a controversial “hot-tub stream” on Twitch, along with popular streamer Amouranth. The details of this controversy require clarification.
Furthermore, on March 4, 2024, Ross dared a 19-year-old man to drive his car into the Burrard Inlet at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada.
The police were alerted and the man was subsequently arrested at the scene. This incident received negative attention from park visitors.
On April 10, 2021, Ross faced a ban from Twitch following an incident where YouTuber Zias used a derogatory term to refer to him during a phone call.
Ross defended himself by stating that he was not present in the room at the time and did not utter the offensive word.
After reviewing the information, Twitch allowed him to continue streaming.
In response, his followers initiated the hashtag #FreeAdin on Twitter to exert pressure on Twitch’s decision.
Eventually, his ban was lifted on April 12, 2021.
More than a year later, on April 20, 2022, Ross received an indefinite ban from Twitch due to his use of “hateful slurs or symbols.”
This was a result of Ross using a homophobic slur during a livestream with Twitch streamer YourRAGE.
However, he was able to resume streaming in June 2022.
On February 25, 2023, Ross faced his eighth and final ban from Twitch.
This time, he was permanently banned for “hateful conduct” after showcasing an unmoderated Kick live chat on his stream.
The chat was flooded with racist and antisemitic messages from viewers.
After influencer Andrew Tate’s arrest in Romania on December 29, 2022, a total of five individuals were granted permission to visit him while in detention.
Among them was Ross, who had planned to travel to Romania but was ultimately denied access by the Romanian government.
Expressing his frustration, Ross took to Twitter and requested President Joe Biden to pardon Andrew Tate.
Fast forward to March 2024, Ross made a claim that Andrew Tate had informed him about his imminent departure from Romania, with no intention of returning.
This revelation led to the subsequent arrest of both Tate and his brother Tristan, as authorities aimed to prevent their escape from the country.
In a public livestream, Ross openly apologized to Tate, acknowledging his grave mistake and expressing deep regret for his actions.
