Sharon Ooja Egwurube (born April 6, 1991), in Kaduna, is a Nigerian actress and model. She came into the limelight after she played the role of “Shalewa” in the web series Skinny Girl in Transit.
Sharon is from the Idoma tribe of Benue state. She was born in Kaduna State and bred in Plateau State. She has three sisters.
Education
She attended Kings and Queens School, Jos, for her primary education. For her secondary education, she attended two all-girls schools – Regina Pacis Secondary School, Garki II, Abuja, and St. Louis Girls’ College, Jos. Both were boarding schools.
Sharon is a graduate of mass communication from Houdegbe North American University Benin.
Career
The actress had an exciting childhood as she and her siblings had cordial relationships with one another. She was pretty stubborn as a child; hence, she got lots of beatings from her mum. The fast-rising star identifies as a “complete northern girl,” but has been able to blend with various parts of the country, hence her ability to take diverse roles as an actress.

Sharon was also featured in Skinny Girl in Transit, where she played the character Shalewa.
She was listed as a top female celebrity of 2020[6] and a Nollywood actress to look forward to in 2021. Sharon Ooja was among many others selected by Netflix to represent Nigeria in the “The Bridgerton Affair” program in South Africa. She fell ill during the remake of the movie Glamour Girls.
