Toyin Abraham’s ‘Oversabi Aunty’ becomes fourth-highest-grossing Nollywood movie

Nollywood movie, Oversabi Aunty, produced by Actress Toyin Abraham has been announced as the fourth highest-grossing Nollywood film of all time in WestInstagram Africa.

This feat was reported achieved within 18 days of its release in the cinema, grossing over N700 million.

The box office figures announcement was made by the official distributor of the movie, FilmOne Entertainment, on its official Instagram page on Monday.

According to the post, the movie has earned N711.5M, making it the fourth highest-grossing Nollywood film of all time in West Africa and the second highest-grossing film of the weekend.

“In just 18 days, Oversabi Aunty grossed N711.5M, making it the 4th Highest Nollywood Film of all time in West Africa.

The movie displaced Funke Akindele’s Battle on Buka Street and Omo Ghetto: The Saga, which were released in 2022 and 2020 and grossed over N660 million and N630 million, respectively, at the box office.

PUNCH Online earlier reported that the movie grossed over N380 million within 11 days of its cinema release.
