Prince Al-Waleed, son of Saudi billionaire Prince Khaled bin Talal, has reportedly regained consciousness after spending nearly two decades in a coma following a tragic car accident in the United Kingdom in 2005.

The accident, which occurred while the young prince was studying at a military college in the UK, left him on life support at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh. Since then, he has depended on a feeding tube and showed only minimal signs of responsiveness — including brief finger movements in 2019.

Despite medical advice in 2015 to discontinue life support, Prince Khaled held firm in his belief that a miracle was possible, saying, “If God wanted him to die in the accident, he would have already been buried.”

Now, a flurry of online reports suggests that Prince Al-Waleed has awakened, 20 years after the devastating crash. However, as of now, there has been no official confirmation from the family or close sources regarding this development.
