Diddy Enters Therapy & Drug Programs Ahead of Sentencing

‎ ‎

Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly taking steps toward personal reform while awaiting sentencing for his recent conviction. According to TMZ, the music mogul has enrolled in STOP—a prison program designed to prevent sexual assault, domestic violence, and dating violence. In addition, he is undergoing therapy and participating in a drug abuse rehabilitation program.

Sources close to the situation claim the Bad Boy founder is actively working on self-improvement. One insider described the initiative as Diddy’s “path toward redemption.”

Facing Sentencing in October

Despite being cleared of sex trafficking and racketeering charges, Diddy was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution earlier this month. Prosecutors have recommended a 4-year sentence.

Judge Arun Subramanian confirmed that October 3rd has been set for Diddy’s sentencing. The court previously denied a defense request for an earlier date and rejected efforts to secure bond for the embattled mogul.

New Civil Allegations Surface

‎ ‎

While preparing for sentencing, Diddy is already facing new civil lawsuits. In one disturbing case, a John Doe accuses the music executive of sexual battery and emotional distress. The plaintiff alleges that Diddy masturbated into a shirt once worn by The Notorious B.I.G. and threw it at him during a 2020 party in Los Angeles.

Diddy’s Legal Team Responds

His lawyers have strongly denied the allegations. In a statement issued to TMZ, they emphasized his recent acquittal and dismissed the latest claims as false and defamatory:

“Mr. Combs’s trial and acquittal on trafficking and RICO charges prove what we have been saying all along: Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone. That people continue to broadcast and file false accusations—no matter how heinous and uncorroborated—is unfortunate, but Mr. Combs will not back down. He will fight for as long as necessary to win his full vindication.”

As legal battles mount and sentencing nears, all eyes remain on Combs—both for his courtroom fate and his efforts at personal redemption behind bars.
